Refund, Transfer and Extension Policy

(Effective May 19, 2022)

The University of Florida College of Pharmacy (UF COP) Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education will utilize fair and equitable policies related to refund, transfer and extension of courses.


Important Note: It is the responsibility of the participant to know the full course requirements and time frame to complete the required coursework prior to registration and payment of course fees.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be made for programs offered by the Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education according to the following schedule: 

  • If the course has been accessed in the Learning Management System there will be no refund.
  • If the course has NOT been accessed in the Learning Management System, and the request is made within 24 hours of purchase, a refund minus a $75.00 administrative fee will be issued.
  • If the course has NOT been accessed in the Learning Management System, and the request is made after 24 hours of purchase, no refund will be issued.
  • Refunds will NOT be granted for “no shows.”
    • A “no show” is defined as registering for a course and failing to participate or submit any coursework during your course duration.
  • Refunds for courses with a fee of $75.00 or less will not be issued.

In the event a registered participant cancels his or her attendance of a scheduled program, the following fee schedule applies: 

  • If the program is live, participant may request a transfer to a different live program date (see Transfer Policy).
  • If the participant fails to attend (“no show”), a refund will not be issued, and the registration fee is forfeited.

Live Seminar Canceled by UFCOP

  • In the event UFCOP cancels a live program, a full refund of fees will be made to the participants. Meals and travel expenses are the responsibility of the individual participant and are not subject to reimbursement.

Transfer Policy

  • Transfer to a different live program date:  
    • If the participant needs to change the date of the live seminar (prior to the live seminar beginning), a $75.00 fee will be applied. The registered participant will be able to choose an upcoming live program seminar that occurs within 6 months of the original date, or the next scheduled date. A written request must be received through our contact form.
  • Transfers will not be granted for “no shows.”
    • A “no show” is defined as registering for a course and failing to participate or submit any coursework during your course duration.

Extension Policy

  • If the course has been accessed, the affiliation period has ended and the participant wishes to receive an extension to complete course work, the participant may be granted a thirty (30) day extension for an additional $200.00 fee. Extensions exceeding one month will not be granted. A written request for an extension must be received through our contact form.

APhA Programs

Refunds for the Program

  • Refunds will not be provided.  Learners may transfer to a different program date, following the transfer policy, or program fees will be forfeited.

Refund Policy for APhA Immunization Supply Kits

  • Refunds will not be provided for immunization supply kits once the order has been placed.

Registering for the Same Program

If the participant has previously purchased or completed the course he/she can transfer to a program valued at an equal rate or pay the difference to transfer into another program. No refunds will be provided.
