The University of Florida Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education team is committed to providing you with the tools necessary to achieve your professional goals. We understand that communicating your course credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging. That is why we have partnered with Credly, a platform for issuing and managing digital credentials. Credly’s digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. This digital image contains verified metadata that describes your participation in our courses and the topics and skills that were covered within them.
Our office issues digital badges and accompanying certificates for all our offered ACPE certificate programs. When applicable, you may use your Credly issued certificate to apply for certification with the state board of pharmacy. Please note, you must provide the PDF certificate to the board, not the image of your digital badge.

Visually Represent Your Training
Representing your skills as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What’s to keep someone else from copying my badge and using it?
A: While badges are simply digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.
Q: How will I know if I’ve earned a badge?
A: You will receive an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com) directly with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account. This will come after course completion for all UF CPE certificate programs.
Q: What email will my Credly notification be sent to?
A: Notifications will be sent to the email address you listed at the time of registration. If you would like to verify or update your email address once your badge has been issued (up to 72 hours after course completion), please contact us.
Q: How do I claim my badge and download my certificate?
A: We have created a short step by step guide (linked below) that shows you how to accept your badge and download your PDF certificate.
Q: What if I don’t want my badge to be public?
A: You can easily configure your privacy settings in Credly. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.
Q: I have a question or need help. Where can I find support?
A: For additional assistance, please contact our CPE team.
