Summary

The purpose of this course is to provide pharmacist preceptors resources and support for both new and experienced preceptors of learners from all levels.
Preceptors can face many different challenges during the training process. This course will explore some of those challenges, review ways to mitigate and set
preceptors up for success.

This course is approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy for 1.0 general hours.


Objectives

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Review challenges that may occur in the course of precepting students
  • Discuss ways to identify student struggles
  • Describe strategies that preceptors can use to address challenges in the rotation environment

Requirements for Successful Course Completion

Attendance at the RSS Grand Rounds presentation and submit an evaluation within 15 days of the presentation.
